Playing, watching and also betting on all different types of sports. From Football to the horse racing or Boxing to Ice Hockey. If its sport and competitive I will watch it. Enjoy relaxing with a good box set on the TV or a decent film with snacks within arms reach.

Spare Time

Birmingham City Season Ticket with more than a hand full of away games per season. Socialising with friends at every possible opportunity. Got 2 dogs, Chester and Lola who I enjoy taking for walks in the countryside

What I enjoy about SJL

The atmosphere in this office is like nothing I have worked in before. Everybody is focused on what they have to do but also able to have a good time whilst doing. Everybody is friendly and looks out for each other. No request is ever too much.

Dan has been working at SJL for over 2 years and quickly progressed to his current position of Wholesale Property Manager, heading up a team that receives circa 1,000 new quote enquiries per month. Each of the 4 account managers have their own individual panel of insurers that they are first point of contact for all things new business. Whether it be Residential Property Owners (RPO), Main Residence (Household), Commercial Property Owners (CPO) or even vacant buildings, both residential and commercial, SJL have in house binders to utilise as well as access to the market being a Lloyds broker.

SJL hold a strong relationship with all their partners/brokers and always do whatever they can to meet their needs and requirements. They approach SJL for their accessibility to the open-market and also as SJL are an accredited Lloyds broker and we have their own in house binders to cover Residential Property Owners, Commercial Property Owners and Vacant buildings.

Dan’s property team operate a clear desk policy whereby every new enquiry is actioned on the day of receipt & they aim, wherever possible, to respond with terms within a 24 hour period. They differentiate themselves in the competitive marketplace in the service levels they adhere to & work closely with both insurers & brokers to develop mutually beneficial relationships.
